Former foreign correspondent, TV host & news presenter with over two decades of global news experience at networks like NBC, CBC, CNN, Euronews, Al Jazeera English. One of the highlights of her career include having her own political debate show called Raw Politics on Euronews NBC broadcast from the European Parliament for which she was named one of the Women Shaping Brussels in 2018 by Politico Europe. She moved to Australia in 2022 and joined ausbiz as News Director at the time. She's also a 2024 journalism mentor for The Walkley Foundation. Not too long ago, she decided to pursue entrepreneurship full-time. Tesa recently launched her podcast Choices & Chances where she uses her experience as an interviewer to delve into life and career lessons others might find useful. She is also in the process of launching her digital courses to empower others through mastery and mindset. 

Sharon is more than just a business owner; she is a beloved figure in the community. As the founder of Cafe Botanica Rhodes, she dedicates her busy schedule not only to running her café but also to helping others. Her commitment to community enrichment is exemplified by her role as Vice President of EmpowHER Sydney Inc., where she focuses on empowering women.

After over a decade of experience in the corporate sector, Sharon decided to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams by establishing her own café. Despite the challenges that come with entrepreneurship, she believes that perseverance and hard work will ultimately lead to success, step by step.

Tina began her remarkable journey in Hong Kong, dedicating an impressive 32 years to a prestigious Japanese jewellery company. Over a decade ago, she achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a GIA Graduate Gemologist, deeply immersing herself in the captivating world of precious stones and intricate designs. This rewarding career instilled in her a profound appreciation for beauty and craftsmanship.

In February 2024, Tina made a courageous decision to move to Sydney with her husband and daughter. This new chapter in a different country was both exciting and daunting. It was here that she chose to return to her roots by studying floristry, a pursuit that not only reconnected her with nature but also sparked her curiosity about the ingredients in everyday skincare products.

As she explored a more natural lifestyle, Tina found immense joy in the simplicity and purity of nature. With unwavering support from her husband, they took the leap to establish Bloom Naturals Lifestyle. Their brand embodies the essence of mindful living, focusing on simplicity, nature, and the beauty that comes from caring for oneself and the environment.

After years of doing everything “right” - an MBA, a corporate career and being the ever available daughter and wife, her divorce forced her to confront the truth: she had been living for everyone else, not herself. Through deep inner work, healing and reclaiming her voice, she rebuilt her life from the ground up.

Susan, a former and soon to be cafe owner.

Susan is originally from China and is now an Australian citizen. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Nottingham University. Her career began as a diplomat for the Chinese government, where she dedicated ten years of service. Following that, she worked for an Australian mining consulting firm in their Beijing office for nine years. In 2013, she moved to Australia and launched a small café in 2016, which she later transferred in 2022. Excitingly, she will be a café owner again starting 1st March 2026.

Beyond her professional life, she is an animal lover, especially fond of cats and dogs. She currently lives with her husband and their two cats. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and is an enthusiastic fan of tennis, although she prefers to watch rather than play.

Dianne had many years in the corporate world, eventually leading to a stress breakdown. After a lot of soul searching she started Team Di – a fitness group embracing “normal” people with a focus on inclusive classes, personalised adjustments as required and a fun environment. MOVEMENT is key to wellbeing and the mental and emotional benefits of exercise are second to none, part of the key for my recovery was exercise! Plus, if it’s fun you’re more likely to keep your fitness journey going! Beginners are embraced and there are options for every level. Intensity can always be increased for those who need it! Challenges, community, charity and social events regularly feature on our calendar and form part of our “feel good” wellness mentality. Classes are currently held in Wentworth Point and Newington, however she often venture as far as Leichhardt or Hornsby to take classes! Personal training is also available.
